12.Voice Calls (“Talk to Murphy”)

DRAFT — pending legal review. This section applies when you start a “Talk to Murphy” voice call from our website. You choose to start the call, and your browser asks for your permission before your microphone is used.

12.1What is captured

Your microphone is captured only for the duration of the live call, to hold the conversation. The call audio may be recorded and transcribed. We do not access your microphone at any other time.

12.2Who processes the audio

  • Twilio — carries the call (telephony and media streaming).
  • OpenAI — powers the voice assistant and transcribes the audio.

These providers process the call audio on our behalf to make the call work, under “How We Share Your Information” (§4) above. The assistant is an automated AI and discloses this on the call.

12.3What we receive

Eric — the business (Crush Digital Atelier LLC) — receives the lead and a summary of the call, together with any contact details you choose to share, so we can follow up about your website.

12.4Retention

Raw call transcripts are retained for approximately 30 days, then deleted. The lead and the call summary are kept as ordinary business records.
TODO(copy) — Eric approves this section. Final retention windows and processor terms (Twilio, OpenAI) are subject to the outstanding lawyer review.
