Murphy Websites · Hire Murphy — a Crush company
Terms of Service
The paper behind the promise on the front page — same terms, spelled out in full.
The short version
Murphy Websites is a done-for-you website service. You pay a one-time fee — there is no subscription. Murphy builds your site first and you only pay if you want it. Hosting and SSL are included, you own your website, and your launch is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. This summary is for convenience; the full terms below control.
1.Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding contract between you (“Client”, “you”, “your”) and Crush Digital Atelier LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), governing your access to, use of, and purchase of the Murphy Websites design, build, and hosting services (“Services”), offered under the Hire Murphy brand.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2.Service Description
2.1Nature of Services
Murphy Websites is a done-for-you, productized website service. We design, build, launch, and host professional websites on behalf of Clients for a one-time fee — and we build the site before you pay. Murphy Websites is NOT a subscription, a traditional agency, a consultancy, or a custom development shop.
2.2What Is Included
Your one-time payment includes:
- One (1) custom-designed website
- Publishing your site live, with hosting and an SSL certificate included
- Search and AI-search optimization (SEO + GEO)
- Custom imagery — AI-generated or your own photos enhanced
- Content edits included after launch (text, images, business details)
- 30-day money-back guarantee
2.3What Is NOT Included
The following are not part of the one-time fee and are optional or quoted separately, clearly and in advance:
- Additional pages beyond the agreed scope (available as an add-on)
- New features, systems, or functionality (e.g., online booking — available as an add-on)
- Complete redesigns or major direction changes
- Custom integrations or third-party development
- Extensive original copywriting
- Legal document drafting (privacy policies, terms, disclaimers)
3.Payment Terms
3.1Built Before You Pay
Murphy builds your website first. You may view your finished site live before any payment is required, and no payment is due until you choose to claim your site and go live. Filing a work order costs nothing and does not obligate you to buy.
3.2One-Time Payment
The Services are provided for a one-time fee — CA $497 for Canadian clients, US $397 for US clients — due only when you claim your site. There are no recurring, monthly, or subscription charges. Any optional add-ons are also one-time fees, charged only when you choose them.
3.3Hosting
Hosting and SSL are included with your one-time payment, with no renewal fee. Because you own your website (see Section 5), you may export it and host it elsewhere at any time.
3.4Changes After Launch
Content edits are included on an ongoing basis: text, images, hours, prices, business details, and similar content changes. Simply contact us with what you’d like changed and we make it. New pages, redesigns, or added functionality are quoted separately in advance. There is no subscription, retainer, or mandatory fee for ongoing support.
4.Production and Delivery
4.1Timeline
Your preview site is typically built before you decide — that is the point of the service. Once you claim it, going live (connecting your domain and completing a content pass together) is typically completed within seven (7) business days after: (a) payment is completed; and (b) all required content and access has been provided by the Client.
4.2Client Responsiveness
If we do not receive feedback or required materials within five (5) business days of a request, the design shall be deemed approved by default, and we will proceed to delivery.
4.3Included Content Edits
Included content edits cover: editing text, replacing images, updating hours, prices, and business details, adjusting colors, reordering sections, and small visual tweaks. New pages, added functionality, and complete redesigns fall outside included content edits and are quoted separately.
5.Ownership and Intellectual Property
5.1You Own Your Website
5.2Your Domain, Your Name
Your domain is registered in your name, not ours. Before you decide, the preview lives on our address only so you can see the real thing; going live is a quick change we walk you through.
5.3Our Underlying Tools
The Company retains all rights to its own pre-existing and reusable assets — underlying frameworks, code libraries, design systems, and reusable components — which are licensed to you for use as part of your website but remain the property of Crush Digital Atelier LLC. You may not extract, resell, or redistribute these underlying tools as a standalone product.
5.4Portability
Because you own your website, you may request a full copy of your site files at any time and host it elsewhere — no lock-in. If we ever discontinue hosting your site, we will provide your export so your site is never held hostage.
6.Content and Compliance Disclaimer
This includes but is not limited to:
- All text, copy, and written materials
- Images, photographs, graphics, and logos
- Trademarks, trade names, and branding elements
- Legal notices, disclaimers, and disclosures
- Privacy policies and terms of service
- Product or service claims and representations
Crush Digital Atelier LLC does not verify, audit, review, or guarantee the legal accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, or compliance of any client-provided content.
7.No Guarantees — Results and Performance
This includes:
- Search engine or AI-search rankings or SEO/GEO performance
- Website traffic volume or visitor numbers
- Lead generation or customer acquisition
- Conversion rates or sales performance
- Business outcomes, revenue, or profitability
We guarantee delivery, professional structure, and technical functionality — not business results.
8.Limitation of Liability
Liability cap: in no event shall our total liability exceed the total amount paid by the Client to the Company for the Services.
9.Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crush Digital Atelier LLC from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to content provided by the Client, misuse of the Services, or violation of these Terms.
10.Disclaimer of Warranties
This disclaimer does not affect your 30-day money-back guarantee, which is described in Section 11.
11.Refund Policy
Because there is no subscription, there is nothing to cancel — and you own your site. The money-back guarantee applies to the one-time fee paid to the Company. Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (for example, a custom domain purchased for you) may be non-refundable to the extent they cannot be recovered.
12–21.Additional Terms
12. Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for third-party services, tools, or platforms integrated with the Services.
13. Optional Add-Ons
Optional add-ons (such as extra pages or online booking) are one-time fees, added only when you choose them.
14. Customer Support
Support is provided by email.
15. Dispute Resolution
Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
17–21. Miscellaneous
DMCA compliance, modifications to terms, severability, entire agreement, and contact information.
